Privacy policy

Micro-Training Method is a web application for coaches and consultants, operated by Micro-Training Method Solutions ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and who else touches it.

It covers the application at app.microtrainingmethod.com, this website, and the pages we publish on your behalf when you build a funnel.

Information you give us

When you create an account we collect your name and email address. If you subscribe, our payment processor collects your billing details. We never see or store your full card number.

As you use the application you create content: your audience profile, your framework, your offers, your training material, your landing and booking pages, and notes you write about the people you work with. That content is yours. We store it so the application can show it back to you, and we process it to generate the drafts and suggestions the product exists to produce.

Information about the people who visit your funnel

When someone opts in to your training, books a call with you, or works through a programme you send them, we collect what they submit: their name, email address, phone number if you ask for it, their answers to your questions, and a record of what they did on your pages.

We hold that information on your behalf. You are the one who decides what to ask them and what to do with the answers. We do not use it to market to them ourselves and we do not sell it.

Google user data

Connecting a Google account is optional. Nothing in this section applies unless you choose to connect one.

What we ask for and why

Permission What we do with it
calendar.readonly Read the times you are already busy, so your booking page does not offer a slot you cannot make. We read event start and end times. We do not store the contents of your events.
calendar.events Create a calendar event when somebody books a call with you, and update or remove that event if the booking changes or is cancelled. We create and modify only events this application created.

How the connection is stored

When you connect, Google gives us two credentials: one that expires within the hour and one that lets us request a fresh short-lived credential later. Both are encrypted before they are written to our database, and they are decrypted only at the moment a request to Google is made.

Limited use

Micro-Training Method's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically: we do not sell Google user data, we do not transfer it to third parties except as needed to provide or improve the features you are using, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not use it to develop, improve or train generalised artificial intelligence or machine learning models. No human at Micro-Training Method reads your calendar data except where you have given explicit permission for us to help with a support request, where it is necessary for security purposes, or where the law requires it.

Withdrawing access

You can disconnect at any time from the settings page inside the application, which deletes the stored credentials. You can also revoke our access directly from your Google account at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Once revoked, your booking page stops checking your calendar and stops creating events. Everything else in the application continues to work.

How we use what we collect

  • To run the application: signing you in, showing you your own material, and keeping it there between sessions.
  • To generate the drafts the product exists to produce. Your material is sent to our artificial intelligence provider for that purpose, and it is not used by them to train their models.
  • To send email on your behalf, and to send you the operational messages the product depends on, such as booking confirmations and reminders.
  • To create meetings and calendar entries for calls that get booked.
  • To take payment for your subscription.
  • To keep the service secure, diagnose faults, and meet our legal obligations.

Who else touches your data

We use a small number of service providers. Each one receives only what it needs to do its job.

Provider What it handles
Supabase Database and file storage
Vercel Application hosting
Anthropic Generating drafts from your material
Resend Sending email
Zoom Creating meetings for booked calls
Google Calendar availability and events, where you have connected an account
Stripe Subscription payments

We do not sell your information to anyone, and we do not share it with advertisers. We may disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to protect our rights or someone's safety.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and the content you create for as long as your account is open. If you close your account, we delete or anonymise your content within 60 days, except where we are required to keep records for tax, accounting or legal reasons.

Google credentials are deleted immediately when you disconnect. Records of emails we sent on your behalf are kept so you can see what a person received.

Where your data is held

Our infrastructure is hosted in the USA. If you are outside that region, your information will be transferred there and processed under the safeguards described in Standard Operating Procedures.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to object to how we use it, or to receive a copy in a portable format. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within 1-2 days.

If someone who came through your funnel makes one of those requests to us, we will pass it to you, since the information is held on your behalf.

Security

Connections to the application are encrypted in transit. Access credentials for connected accounts are encrypted at rest. Access to production data is limited to the people who need it to operate the service. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you without undue delay if a breach affects your information.

Children

The application is for business use by adults. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that affects you, we will update the date at the top and tell you inside the application before the change takes effect.
